The Lake George CO post office is the 4th post office I’ll be posting from our adventure trip in May of 2003.

This style of building is pretty typical of a lot of post offices I have visited. After visiting many post offices you tend to see the similarities and differences of the buildings. This is another early one of photos so I only have a few photos.

Just another post office visit from our May 2003 adventure trip. The Hartsel Post Office is another one of those newer post offices. I think at this point I was starting to drive my friends nuts by stopping at all the post offices during this trip.

Anyway, the Hartsel Post Offices is another one where I just took an exterior photo of the building. I’m unsure if there is a dedication plaque or other interesting features. Anyone in Hartsel know if a dedication plaque exist?

Original Visit May 2003

Pulling photos from my archive, I came across some of my early photos. This one was taken in May of 2003. Some friends and I headed out to Colorado for some action and adventure.  Our trip included whitewater rafting, mountain biking and a lot of driving.

I was young and in much better shape than I am today. Hard to believe this was nine years ago. This week I’ll feature a few more early photos from Colorado.
