Today’s featured post office is Prairie Du Chien Wisconsin. I bet you were thinking “oh man this one must have a mural,” but no, it does not. You must be saying to your self, “What is it then?” Please, Post Office Freak, tell us what is so special about Prairie Du Chien? Ok, children hold your horses. It does have artwork but this one is quite unique in that it is one of only a few that are plaster reliefs.
What do you think about it? I actually welcome the change in pace of finding a something different. The plaster relief although smaller in form than the large murals we are used to seeing is a nice touch.
